Senate districts
Ohio's 33 Senate districts, ordered by the state aid flowing through the schools in each. 392 of 609 school districts lie wholly inside one; the rest straddle a boundary. House districts are the other view.
These figures are estimates, and nobody publishes them
The department computes funding per school district and stops. No legislative district is a unit of account anywhere in Ohio's funding system, and most school districts cross seat boundaries — so every figure on these pages is derived, by splitting each school district across the seats it overlaps in proportion to under-18 population from the 2020 census.
One thing about them is exact: each school district's shares sum to one, so these 33 rows add to $7,281,227,593, the FY2027 statewide total, to the cent. And the Senate view is the less approximate of the two: its seats are three times larger, so 392 school districts sit wholly inside one against 270 for the House.
Two caveats worth carrying. Under-18 population is a proxy for pupils — it counts children in community schools, private schools and none. And it is a 2020 count applied to a FY2027 model, so a seat that has grown or emptied since the census is weighted as it was.

"Schools" counts the school districts with population in the seat, including slivers; "whole" counts those lying entirely inside it. A seat where the two are equal contains its schools completely, and a member there speaks for every pupil in them.
